ibis Kolkata Rajarhat - An Accor Brand

We went to the property for staycation purpose to spend just plain, simple leisure time. It is a nice,well decorated property at a great location with of course good facilities. Food is the star of the show here. They are delicious. Staffs are really good here and all of the other services are good too. In a nutshell, it's a really good place to stay,relax,have good food and fun.

Nested in the heart of city this modern hotel, equipped with all the amenities, is a perfect choice for both travellers and business minds. With each wall painted magically and displaying the stunning monuments/places of interest and the local culture of Kolkata, you develop a virtual connection with Kolkata as soon as you step into the Hotel. The modernized look with creative spots marked for selecting music on the go and open dome structures for a chit chat makes it a perfect place for hanging out together . Equipped with all facilities, the hotel serves as a perfect ones stop place for taking care of all your needs during your stay. The clean rooms and bathrooms, free wifi, QR based room ordering menu, all add to your comfort and make your stay a memorable one.

I stayed at the ibis Kolkata Rajarhat in February'23 and had a great experience. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained. The colorful wall paintings in the entrance, lobby, and lift area added a fun and cheerful touch to the hotel. The paintings resembles the heritage of Kolkata. There are some lovey workstations at the lobby and a well decorated bar and food hall. Although the food was delicious, it was a bit expensive. However, the location of the hotel more than made up for it, as it is conveniently situated just across from the Axis mall. Additionally, there is a Cafe Coffee Day just a short walk away, perfect for satisfying your coffee cravings.

IBIS is my fav mid range hotel / biz hotel. I will go back here for sure. Front desk Arpita was super helpful. She is professional, assertive yet helpful. Food quality has increased a lot. Good and clean rooms. But the work desk is missing. It will be a good value.

We flew to Kolkata from Dhaka, straight from work. We checked-in at the hotel and was not prepared for the event (wedding reception) in the evening. My husband asked for 2 things only: someone who can help me wear my saree (I'm a foreigner and not used to wearing it), and a nail polish remover. THE STAFF HELPED US WITHOUT ANY HESITATIONS and I even felt bad because I only wore the saree for less than an hour! The next day, we asked them if they can recommend a taxi to rent for a day-tour. They said to Uber because taxi might be more expensive and neither of the 2 options can provide us a tour guide so might as well choose the most practical one. I thought that it was thoughtful and mindful of them to do that. Our overall experience was very good not only because of the facilities but because of the service. I only want to suggest to add more food on the restaurant menu :-) Thanks to the reception staff (I think they would know once they read this message). We will come back soon! Cheers!!! x
